Clinical Programmer Analyst
Description:
Responsible for PL/SQL programming within a Clinical
Trials Database and/or Oracle environment. Will develop, test,
and write moderate-to-complex programs and reports. Will code,
test, and deploy data management systems to collect clinical data
and support database management system (e.g., Oracle clinical,
Clintrial™) application. Will design and set up database
objects, data entry screen layouts, and appropriate views within
the application according to the study protocol. Must be able to
complete project responsibilities and programming assignments efficiently
and on time, according to specifications, and in accordance with
both department and sponsor standards or requirements. Must be
able to employ effective communication, both oral and written,
work collaboratively and effectively as a project team member,
establish and maintain working relationships with team members,
end users, management, technical staff and others encountered in
the course of the work. Specific job functions are as follows:

Code, test, and deploy data management systems to collect
clinical data. |

Develop and implement electronic error checking routines
and data field validation rules to ensure the integrity of
clinical databases. |

Create ad-hoc queries and custom reports using PL/SQL and
other Oracle development object-oriented |
Requirements:
 |
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with
5 plus years’ knowledge of formal database concepts and
relational database
design experience. |
 |
Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary project
team. |
 |
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving
skills. |
 |
Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple assignments
with challenging deadlines. |
