RESEARCHPOINT APPOINTS MATTHEW W. WALKER, EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING
Austin, TX- January 3, 2007 –ResearchPoint, a full-service, privately-owned, contract research organization serving the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries, announces the appointment of Matthew W. Walker to its leadership team as Executive Vice President, Business Development & Marketing. In addition to sales, marketing, and business development responsibilities, Mr. Walker will lead strategic and organizational alignment and growth, while coordinating development and positioning of ResearchPoint’s service lines.
Mr. Walker joined ResearchPoint from Hart InterCivic, Inc. At Hart, Matt managed multiple business units, culminating in the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager, responsible for launching and managing new business initiatives. He brings nearly two decades of experience to ResearchPoint in project operations, P&L ownership, and operations management, and has a background in health care consulting from Deloitte Consulting.

Mr. Walker received his BA in Economics from Stanford and his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.
