RESEARCHPOINT EXPANDS HIV/AIDS RESEARCH OPERATIONS;
APPOINTS CARYLL BENTLEY DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL OPERATIONS

AUSTIN, Texas - February 27, 2007 — ResearchPoint, a full-service contract research organization serving the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries, is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Caryll Bentley BSN, MA as Director, Clinical Operations. Ms. Bentley is a proven project leader and brings 18 years of clinical research experience to the ResearchPoint team. Ms. Bentley has a broad range of experience in HIV/AIDS, both clinical and research based. As Executive Director, HIV Research at The Central Texas Medical Foundation, part of the AMFAR Initiative, she developed the first decentralized HIV/AIDS clinical trials program in Central Texas.

Previously, Caryll held positions at large global CROs and managed domestic and international development programs in various therapeutic areas including immunology, hematology, anti-infectives and CNS. Prior to joining ResearchPoint, she was Director of Clinical Affairs for LabNow, Inc., a developer of innovative lab-on-a-chip technology for monitoring HIV/AIDS treatment.

Ms. Bentley, in her role as Director of Clinical Operations, is responsible for the oversight and management of clinical development teams, project budgets, hiring and training, and integrating internal and external services to improve the outsourcing experience for customers and investigators.
