Blend of Traditional and e-CRO Services is ResearchPoint's Formula
for Success
AUSTIN, Texas - April 29, 2003 — ResearchPoint has completed
enrollment for two major women's healthcare studies well ahead
of schedule. The first study closed enrollment four months ahead
of schedule, while the second study completed two months ahead
of schedule. "Our client had a specific need to expedite enrollment
to meet an accelerated regulatory filing goal," said Carol
Breslauer, Vice President, Operations, ResearchPoint. "I attribute
this success to strong team leadership, our ability to enhance
daily project communication and training, and an excellent day-to-day
working relationship with our client." The team has been under
the clinical guidance of Judy Davis, ResearchPoint's Director of
Site Services. Davis is an expert in the area of Women's Health,
with over 250 clinical trials to her credit. "Judy
has been an excellent resource to the team for ideas on site staff
motivation and creative means of identifying potential patients.
She has been active in site communications to minimize impediments
in enrollment and to maximize the quality of patients enrolled
in the study," said John Farinacci, President and CEO of ResearchPoint.
Over the past two years, ResearchPoint's ability to continually
deliver a quality product combined with its service orientation
and e-solutions have enabled it to attract established and notable
customers and productive investigators. "ResearchPoint's ability
to repeatedly exceed client expectations and provide competitively
priced e-service solutions has been instrumental in our rapid growth.
Revenues have doubled from last year," Farinacci said. As
a result, ResearchPoint recently relocated its corporate headquarters
into a larger facility. "Managing rapid growth is always a
challenge, but a welcome one," said Breslauer. ResearchPoint
(www.researchpoint.com) is an e-CRO, which combines traditional
and electronically enhanced services to the pharmaceutical, biomedical
and medical device industries. ResearchPoint technology initiatives
have focused on communication and training as aids to accelerate
and improve the quality of clinical trials. For more information,
