RESEARCHPOINT RECOGNIZED AS ONE OF TOP TEN BEST PLACES TO WORK
IN AUSTIN
AUSTIN, Texas -- November 29, 2004 — Yet another success
story for ResearchPoint, the Austin-based contract research organization
(CRO), which manages the development process for pharmaceutical,
medical device, and biotechnology customers. In a contest recently
held by the Austin Business Journal in which ResearchPoint was
invited to participate, the CRO placed in the top ten Best Places
to Work in central Texas. Participation consideration was contingent
upon each ResearchPoint team member agreeing to answer the online
questionnaire created for the contest and scored by Quantum Market
Research. The questions targeted areas of satisfaction surrounding
the direction of the company, level of trust in management, supervisory
issues, comfort level with coworkers, enjoyment of job responsibilities
and challenges, etc. Out of a possible score of 100, ResearchPoint
received an overall score of 94.82 points. The results of the contest
were revealed at a special luncheon hosted by the Austin Business
Journal on 14 October.
Applying lessons learned from his years of experience in the pharmaceutical
and CRO industries. John Farinacci, President and Chief Executive
Officer of ResearchPoint, knows happy team members are more productive. "We
have found it is up to management to establish the playing field
and define challenges, but the culture, work ethic, and productivity
are functions of allowing people the opportunity to be creative,
innovative and responsible. As in any team setting, winning teams
have more fun," said Farinacci.
With the release of their humorous series of webisodes relating
to daily activities experienced by customers working with CROs,
as well as the implementation and success of a cross-training model,
the industry is beginning to recognize the ResearchPoint difference.
When asked what makes ResearchPoint a great place to work, Cori

in the team." Barbara Risovi stated it simply, "ResearchPoint
is professional, but fun!" Ella Kleynerman remarked, "I

is an excellent balance of young and old, new and experienced men
